Production Process

Stair treads start as hot-rolled checkered plate from our mill partners. At our Jiaozhou facility, plates are leveled, then CNC-cut to your exact tread dimensions — including angled cuts and corner notches for stringer fits. Nosing bends (for a rounded front edge) are formed on press brakes.

Fixing holes are drilled per your detail, and edges are deburred for safe handling. Treads are then galvanized, painted, or oiled per specification. Each batch is checked for dimension, pattern height, and finish quality before packing.

A: 4–5mm Q235B is standard for pedestrian stairs on normal stringer spacing. For heavy-traffic industrial stairs or stairs crossed by equipment, use 6–8mm Q355B. We will confirm based on your span and load.
