With the increasing strictness of environmental control in the industry and fluctuations in raw material costs, reducing losses, low energy consumption, and high quality have become the core competitiveness for the long-term development of steel enterprises. Since early June, Sanhe Steel's production workshop has implemented a refined control plan for the entire process, optimizing the operation flow around the two high loss processes of steel plate cutting and steel coil unwinding and longitudinal cutting, and synchronously promoting the transformation of energy-saving equipment in the factory area, taking into account production cost control and green production requirements.




In the past, when processing in bulk, the layout of the plates was unreasonable and the tension of the steel coil was unbalanced, which easily resulted in a large amount of corner waste and increased raw material loss. Based on years of practical experience, frontline masters and technicians have redefined cutting and layout standards, accurately planned materials according to order sizes, and maximized the use of steel plate substrates; Adjust the operating speed and roller parameters of the longitudinal cutting unit to reduce the problems of steel strip deviation and edge burrs, and reduce waste output from the production source. The workshop synchronously increases the daily maintenance frequency of equipment, calibrates cutting tools and checks the accuracy of rolling equipment before starting work every day, and reduces the output of defective steel plates and defective steel coils.

Sanhe Steel

In terms of green production transformation, the factory area is gradually replacing high-energy consumption old-fashioned rolling equipment, installing waste heat recovery devices, and recovering the heat generated by rolling to supply daily use in the workshop; Install spray dust suppression equipment in the raw material and finished product storage areas, improve the exhaust gas filtration system, and strictly implement environmental emission standards. After more than half a month of trial operation, the loss of steel plates and coils in the workshop has significantly decreased, the yield rate of finished products has synchronously increased, and the unit production energy consumption has steadily decreased. Sanhe Iron and Steel Production Department stated that they will continue to refine the control standards for each process in the future, adhere to the long-term improvement of quality, consumption reduction, and green production, and enhance market competitiveness with cost-effective steel plates and coils.
