The implementation of refined production control has been effective, and strict control of steel plate and coil processing losses has been implemented to improve the yield rate of finished products
In order to further reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve product cost-effectiveness, starting from May 2026, Sanhe Steel will comprehensively implement refined processing control in the production workshop, focusing on special optimization and rectification of high loss processes such as steel plate cutting, steel coil unwinding, and longitudinal cutting and slitting, effectively reducing raw material waste and improving the quality of finished products.
In the past batch processing, problems such as unreasonable layout, excessive cutting allowance, deviation of steel coil unwinding, and excessive waste at the beginning and end were prone to occur, resulting in high raw material loss. In response to the actual pain points in frontline production, the production technology team has reorganized the standardized operation process based on years of practical experience, optimized the cutting and layout scheme of the board, accurately calculated the material size according to different specifications of orders, and maximized the utilization of raw materials; Simultaneously fine tune the tension and speed parameters of the steel coil longitudinal cutting equipment to reduce issues such as steel strip deviation, edge burrs, and dimensional deviations, effectively reducing ineffective losses.
In addition, the workshop strengthens the daily inspection and maintenance frequency of equipment, checks the accuracy of cutting tools, rollers, and calibration equipment before starting up every day, and reduces the output of defective products from the source. The quality inspection department has increased its sampling efforts throughout the entire process, strictly controlling key indicators such as surface flatness, thickness tolerance, cut quality, and steel coil shape, to achieve early detection, adjustment, and handling of problems.
After nearly a month of operation, the processing losses of steel plates and coils in the factory area have significantly decreased, and the overall yield rate and finished product qualification rate have steadily improved. This not only effectively controls production costs, but also improves the stability and consistency of the factory produced plates. In the future, Sanhe Steel will continue to refine production control details, normalize quality improvement, loss reduction, and efficiency enhancement, and serve new and old customers with higher quality steel plates and coils.
