Sanhe Iron and Steel promotes the "Zero Carbon Factory" plan: The first batch of green steel will be officially delivered in 2026
With the surge in demand for low-carbon raw materials in the global construction industry, Sanhe Steel recently announced that its core processing base in Asia has completed process upgrades and successfully achieved a 30% reduction in carbon emissions on its production lines. The first batch of green certified building steel will be delivered this quarter.
Against the backdrop of deep decarbonization in the steel industry, Sanhe Steel has not remained at the slogan stage. In April of this year, the company officially disclosed its interim achievements in the "2026 Green Supply Chain" to the public. Unlike traditional extensive production, Sanhe Steel has significantly reduced the carbon footprint per unit product by introducing advanced electric furnace technology and scrap steel recycling system.
We are not just selling steel, but exporting a low-carbon solution, "said the technical director of Sanhe Steel at a recent internal seminar. At present, the company has signed strategic agreements with multiple international construction contractors to prioritize the supply of customized steel with carbon footprint accounting. This transformation directly responds to the high-frequency demand for "sustainable building materials" and "green steel suppliers" in Google searches, not only enhancing brand professionalism, but also substantially increasing the competitive weight of enterprises in international bidding.
