Wall thickness range

Common wall thickness: 1.0mm - 4.5mm

Thin wall: 1.0 - 2.0mm (for wiring, light structures)

Standard wall thickness: 2.0 - 3.5mm (for water supply and drainage, fire protection main lines)

Thick wall: 3.5 - 4.5mm (for high pressure, heavy load, gas, etc.)

Strength classification

Galvanized Steel Profiles can be classified according to material strength and application:

1. Ordinary grade: Q195, Q215, used for low-pressure fluids, conduit pipes

2. Standard grade: Q235B, the most commonly used, for water supply and drainage, fire protection, gas

3. High strength: Q345B, used for structural load-bearing, mechanical supports, high-pressure scenarios

Chemical composition classification

Based on the base steel grade:

1. Low carbon steel type - Q195, Q215, Q235

- Good plasticity and excellent weldability, the mainstream for civil pipelines

2. Low alloy high-strength steel - Q345 (16Mn)

- Higher strength, used for structural pipes and pressure pipelines

Classification of Delivery Status

1. Hot-dip galvanized pipe - Thick zinc layer, strong adhesion, good corrosion resistance

- Preferred for outdoor, underground, and humid environments

2. Electro-galvanized pipe - Thin zinc layer, shiny surface

- Suitable for indoor dry environments, and widely used in conduit pipes

3. According to surface: ordinary zinc layer, thickened zinc layer

4. According to length: fixed length 6m, non-fixed length, fixed length with zero cut-off

Production process of Galvanized Steel Profiles

1. Unrolling and leveling of steel strips

2. Forming and welding (straight seam pipe)

3. Deburring and trimming

4. Acid washing and rust removal

5. Galvanizing (hot-dip galvanizing / electro-galvanizing)

6. Cooling and passivation treatment

7. Straightening and fixed-length cutting

8. Inspection and packaging for delivery

Quality Requirements for Galvanized Steel Profiles

1. Zinc Layer: Uniform, no missed coating, no peeling, no detachment, and adhesion meets the standard

2. Dimensions: Outer diameter, wall thickness, and length deviations are within the national standard range

3. Surface: No cracks, scars, folds, or obvious unevenness

4. Welding: Weld seams are smooth, with no air holes or incomplete penetration

5. Performance: Pass bending and flattening tests, and no leakage in water pressure test

6. Corrosion Resistance: For outdoor use, ensure corrosion resistance. If necessary, perform passivation treatment
